The Mogollon (pronounced “Muggy-own”) Rim is a huge cliff side, often 2,000 feet tall, extending 200 miles. Your guided hiking trip will follow the Mogollon Rim escarpment with the Arizona desert to the south and the Colorado Plateau to the north. Designed to give you a week of moderate hikes in the early fall, which means hiking in a bit more comfortable temperatures. Enjoy both desert and forest during the same week while hiking the Highline Trail!

Mogollon Rim guided hike lengths will be about 8-14 miles along the Highline Trail, taking around 6 hours a day. The Mogollon Rim is located near Payson, AZ which is two hours south of Flagstaff.
Our Mogollon Rim guided hiking trip includes all transportation, healthy meals, camping, showers, guided hiking, and excellent staff for the week! As always, we will cook delicious and nutritious breakfasts and dinners, and offer buffet lunch-packing. Our focus is to provide you with plenty of fresh food, and we can easily accommodate dietary restrictions.
Our hike guides have been trained to lead a group of 14 hikers through the trail and offer water filtering, fun facts, good conversation, and some medical assessments (including bandaging blisters).
